The appointment of Andy McCormick as WeDiscover’s first Chief Growth Officer – a newly created role as part of the executive team – marks a pivotal moment in the agency’s growth journey, as WeDiscover brings its engineering-led approach to marketing to more of the world’s most ambitious brands.

Andy will lead go-to-market strategy and build the agency’s first dedicated growth team, shaping how WeDiscover meets, pitches for and begins work with the brands it is best placed to help.

The Creation of the Chief Growth Officer Role

WeDiscover’s growth in recent years has been significant. The agency now manages more than £400m in ad spend each year, has been named in the FT 1000 of Europe’s fastest-growing companies for three consecutive years (2024, 2025 and 2026), and was recognised in Deloitte’s UK Technology Fast 50 in 2024 and EMEA Technology Fast 500 in 2025. This rapid expansion has presented exciting opportunities, and the executive team is scaling to support that trajectory.

Growth to date has been built on giving marketing leaders one of the most technical ways to run marketing today. Cross-functional teams set the strategy, run activation across every major digital channel and make the creative, while engineers and data scientists build the infrastructure underneath – connecting each brand’s business data directly to its marketing campaigns.

Alongside this, WeDiscover develops its own proprietary solutions, helping brands get the most from their measurement, data infrastructure, bidding and budget allocation.

The creation of a dedicated growth function, led by an experienced Chief Growth Officer, signals an intentional move to bring this approach to more marketing leaders as the business continues to scale. It will support WeDiscover in expanding its client base, tackling new challenges and continuing to release the best-in-class solutions that have become synonymous with its work. It is a move designed to strengthen WeDiscover’s ability to reach new clients across all sectors and deliver world-class results for them.

“As WeDiscover enters the next phase of growth, we wanted the right leadership in place, and Andy’s experience and future-thinking approach will help us realise our ambitions.”
